HS Series
WHOLE HOME ELECTRODE STEAM HUMIDIFIERS
The HS Series electrode steam humidiers work by
heating water in a secure, internal cylinder to create
steam. The steam is injected directly into your central
heat and cooling system’s ductwork, and the system‘s
fan circulates the humid air throughout the house.
The HS Series steam humidiers have a proprietary
“auto-adaptive” routine that helps maximize steam
output from the water it uses. Very little water is wasted
compared to evaporative humidiers where all water
that enters the humidier and doesn’t enter the air
goes down the drain. The HS Series humidiers do not
rely on the temperature or ow rate of the air leaving
the furnace to deliver the right amount of humidity to
the home. This makes these humidiers a better match
for variable speed and modulating heating and cooling
systems where air temperatures and ow rates tend to
be lower than single stage systems.
Stand-alone or portable humidifiers simply cannot
support a home’s total humidity requirements. They
are only capable of providing humidity in the proximity
of the room where they are located. Whole-home
humidiers provide humidity to all of the conditioned
air owing through the home and do not deposit dried
mineral dust on the oor like portable humidiers do.
Whole home humidiers also do not require manual
relling or cleaning like portable units.
