WHOLE HOME DEHUMIDIFIERS
A whole home dehumidier removes humidity from the air
using the same process as a central air conditioner. The DV
Series Dehumidier works in conjunction with your central
AC system or operates independently as needed to maintain
a comfortable humidity level in your home. Unlike a portable
dehumidier, which only removes humidity in the proximity
of the room where it is located, a DV Series dehumidier
attaches to the ductwork, providing dehumidication
throughout your home. It is controlled by a dehumidistat,
which monitors and controls the humidity levels in your
home year-round.
Your thermostat controls the temperature in your home,
not the humidity. If you often nd yourself feeling muggy,
sticky, and even hot even when the thermostat is set to a
seemingly comfortable temperature, you might benet
from a DV Series Whole Home Dehumidier. Lowering the
thermostat setting below where you normally would in an
attempt to lower the humidity and feel more comfortable

comfort. Dehumidiers remove moisture from the home’s
