General Installation Notes:
Please read these instructions completely before
beginning the installation. If you have any questions
please call.
Before beginning the installation, disconnect the negative
battery cable and use wheel chocks to block the
vehicle's wheels.
Make sure the engine, transmission, body and frame are
properly grounded.
These instructions are intended to be a general guide.
You may need to alter the order of the steps below, or
add additional steps, in order to install the Dome Light
in your particular vehicle.
The Dome Light uses a wedge type #194 bulb (included).
Step 1: Remove any existing parts as needed before
beginning the installation.
Step 2: The Dome Light should be attached to some
sort of a structure that is capable of supporting
its weight when going over bumps and when
accelerating, turning, or stopping quickly.
Choose the mounting location and support
structure.
Step 3: Remove the lens from the Dome Light by
pushing down on one end of the lens, and the
other end of the lens will pop up and out of the
dome light housing.
Step 4: The dome light housing is designed to be
mounted with a #6 Phillips Flat Head machine
bolt or screw (not included). Determine which
type and what length will work best for your
particular application, and obtain the machine
bolt or screw.
Step 5: Use the back side of the dome light housing
as a template to mark and cut the opening in
your headliner for the Dome Light to fit into.
Step 6: Remove the #194 bulb from the dome light
housing by pulling it straight out of the bulb
socket. Do not twist the bulb! Position the
dome light housing in the vehicle. Drill an
appropriately sized mounting hole (for a #6
machine bolt or for a #6 screw) into the support
structure. Thread the hole if needed.

Step 7: Pass the vehicle's power and ground wires for the
dome light circuit through the opening you cut
in the headliner. Install the appropriate electrical
connector onto the Dome Light's wires and plug
it in, or permanently join the Dome Light's wires
to your vehicle's dome light wiring. It does not
matter which wire on the Dome Light is used as
power or ground.
Make sure the wiring connection is insulated
adequately, with no exposed wire or bare
connectors.
Step 8: Install the Dome Light with the #6 bolt or screw.
Install the #194 bulb, and the dome light lens by
pushing it up until it clicks into place.
