General Installation Notes:
Please read these instructions completely before beginning the
installation. If you have any questions please call.
Before beginning the installation, disconnect the negative battery
cable and use wheel chocks to block the vehicle's wheels.
Make sure the engine, transmission, body and frame are
properly grounded. We recommend using anti-seize lubricant on
all aluminum threads.
Refer to Figs. 1, 2, and 3 for the component names.
Brake or Clutch Pedal Covers
Step 1: Remove any existing pedal pads (if applicable).
Step 2: Position the new cover on the existing brake or clutch
pedal, with the wider side at the top.
Step 3: Automatic Transmission Brake Pedal (Fig. 1): Place one
of the Auto Backing Plates on each side of the back of
the pedal, with the #8-32 socket head bolts protruding
through the back side of the backing plates. Secure
the backing plates with the #8-32 nylock nuts.
Manual Transmission Brake and Clutch Pedals (Fig. 2):
Place the long backing plate at the top on the back side
of the pedal, with the #8-32 socket head bolts protruding
through the back side of the backing plate. Secure the
long backing plate loosely with two nylock nuts.
Then, place the short backing plate at the bottom on
the back side of the pedal, with the bolts protruding
through the back side of the backing plate. Secure the
short backing plate with two nylock nuts. Tighten all four
nuts using a 9/64" Allen wrench and an 11/32" wrench
or socket.

Emergency Brake Pedal Covers (Fig. 3)
Step 1: Remove any existing pedal pads (if applicable).
Step 2: Position the new cover on the emergency brake
pedal. Mark and center-punch the location of the
two bolt holes in the cover onto the pedal.
Step 3: Drill a 7/32" diameter hole in the emergency brake
pedal at each of your marks.
Step 4: Install the cover onto the emergency brake pedal,
using the #10-32 x 5/8" flat head bolts and nylock
nuts. Tighten using a 1/8" Allen wrench and a 3/8"
wrench or socket.
Step 5: Peel the paper backing off of the back side of
the rubber pad to reveal the adhesive. Place the
rubber pad into the recess in the front side of the
cover, and press firmly into place.
