Schweinebraten, ist die Mikrowellenzeit entsprechend länger als für kleine, flache Lebensmittel. Beim Grill verhält es sich jedoch umgekehrt. Riscaldare è sicuramente una delle virtù particolari della microonde. Liquidi e cibi che escono dal frigorifero possono essere portati facilmente a temperature ambiente o sono subito commestibili senza dover far uso di molte pentole. I tempi di riscaldamento indicati nella tabella servono solo da riferimento, visto che la durata dipende molto dalla temperatura iniziale dei cibi e la loro consistenza. Si consiglia di verificare di tanto in tanto se la pietanza sia già abbastanza calda.
