• If the hair dryer is used in the bathroom, remove the mains plug after use as water
represents a hazard. This also applies when the hair dryer is switched off.
• Attention: The nozzles become hot during operation.
• Do not put objects, hair or your hands in front of the air intake opening! The device can
suffer damage despite the overheating protection if the airfl ow is blocked!
• As additional protection we recommend the installation of a fault current protection
device (RCD) with a rated current of not more than 30 mA in the wiring system of the
bathroom. Please contact an authorised electrician for advice.
Commissioning
1. Fully unwind the mains cable.
2. Make sure that the iron voltage (see name plate) and the mains voltage match. The
voltage can be changed from 120 V to 230 V by means of the voltage switch on the
bottom of the handle.
3. Fit on a nozzle. You can dry single hair locks by concentrating the fl ow of hot air with
the hairdressing nozzle. The diffuser is the ideal solution to dry curly hair without losing
volume. In order to replace the attachment, fi rst remove the old attachment by pulling it
off and then pushing on the new one until it clicks into place.
4. Insert the plug into a duly installed 230 V/50 Hz protective contact socket.
5. Shift the switch on the handle to one of the desired heat/blowing levels:
Level 0: off
Level 1: medium airfl ow and medium temperature
Level 2: strong airfl ow and high temperature
6. After use shift the switch to position „0“ and pull out the plug. Leave the device to cool
before putting it away! Hang the device up by the suspension eye. Fold up the handle in
order to save space when the device is stored.
Cleaning and care
• Clean the air suction opening from time to time with a fi ne brush.
• Clean the housing with a soft, dry cloth without additives.
• The device must never be immersed in water!
Air Intake Grill
• Please clean the grill on the air intake side of the hairdryer regularly in order to avoid
excessive temperatures as a result of heat accumulation.
• Remove any dirt that is present. If necessary, a fi ne brush can be used.
