Carrying out basic settings
If you enter an incorrect password the message "access
denied" appears.
Parental lock
Individual channels may be locked in the Channel Manager menu
(see Page 105). The "Parental Lock" function may be used to acti-
vate or deactivate this lock.
Ö If you would like to activate the parental lock, select the option
"Yes".
Ö If you would like to deactivate the parental lock, select the
option "No".
Install Lock
Carry out basic settings on the receiver in the "User Installation"
menu (see Page 93 onwards). These settings can be protected
against inadvertent changes with the "Install Lock" function.
Ö If you would like to activate the install lock, select the option
"Yes".
Ö If you would like to deactivate the install lock, select the option
"No".
Changing the password
You may change the password (PIN code) set in the factory and
enter any other four-digit number as your personal PIN code.
Note your new password; once changed, only the new
code is valid for all password queries.
If you've forgotten your personal password, you can
assign a new password by means of the master pass-
word "3739".
Ö Use the "CH ▼" and "CH ▲" arrow keys to select the menu
option "New Password".
Ö Enter the new password using the numerical keys.
