The EPG features enable you to:
• view information on programme contents on the
display;
• to preselect broadcasts to be automatically swit-
ched on when they start;
• to programme broadcasts.
This function can only be used if it is suppor-
ted by the selected station.
ÖIn order to display the Electronic Programme
Guide, press the ”EPG“ button.
The Electronic Programme Guide is displayed. On
the left side of the screen you will see the channel
list and on the right side the list of programmes.
ÖUse the VOL-, VOL+, CH-, CH+
arrow keys to select the desired programme/
broadcast.
ÖFor information on the content of the chosen
programme, press the ”yellow“ button. A new
window is opened.
ÖPress the ”EXIT“ button in order to hide the
window.
You can switch between the weekly and daily
display modes by using the ”green“ and ”red“
buttons.
By using the „ F.F“ or „ REV“ buttons you
can move forward/go backwards one day.
Preselection/programming of broadcasts:
ÖPress the EPG key. The Programme Overview
window will be displayed.
ÖUse the VOL-, VOL+, CH-, CH+
arrow keys to select the desired programme/bro-
adcast.
ÖPress the ”blue“ button. A new window is ope-
ned.
ÖPress ”OK“ in order to adopt the settings.
ÖPress the ‘EXIT’ key to return to the TV program-
me.
If the start time of the selected broadcast has been
reached, the device switches to this
broadcast/channel.
To change the data predefined by the channel
(start/end time, etc.) select the corresponding
line using the “ CH-” and “ CH+” arrow
keys.
Time Reservation
The receiver can be programmed to switch to a
specific channel at the desired time. This function
can be used e.g. to record a programme using the
video recorder. Furthermore, you can programme
the receiver in a way that it switches on or off or
that a short message is displayed at a specific time.
Set the timer as follows:
ÖSelect the ”configuration/Wake up Timer“ subme-
nu in the ”Digital TV“ menu.
ÖBy using the “ CH-” or“ CH+” arrow buttons,
you select the lines.
ÖBy using the “ VOL-” and “ VOL+” arrow
buttons you carry out settings.
ÖSelect a free timer position in the line ”Timer
no.“.
ÖSelect the required option in the line ”Timer
mode“.
off = Timer is deactivated.
once = Timer is activated.
daily = Timer is activated daily at the same
time.
weekly = Timer is activated weekly at the same
time.
yearly = Timer is activated annually at the same
time.
ÖSelect the required option in the line “Wake up
Mode”.
off = The device switches off at a specific time.
Message = A message is displayed in the
current picture for a short time.
Channel = The device switches to the chosen
programme position.
on = The device switches on at a specific time.
ÖSelect the required option in the line ”Wake up
Message“. This menu option depends on the
alarm mode option.
ÖAdjust the required date in the line ”Wake up
date“.
ÖPress the VOL+” button. A calendar is
displayed. Selected the required date by using
the arrow buttons.
ÖConfirm your entry with ”OK“.
ÖAdjust the time by using the numeric keys in the
line ”On Time“.
ÖAdjust the duration of the programme in the line
“Duration”. The device will return to the previous
programme position once duration has expired.
ÖPress “OK” in order to activate the timer.
ÖPress the “EXIT” button in order to return to the
TV programme.
Games
You can choose between the games Boxman, Tetris
and Hit Rat.
Boxman
ÖIf you want to play Boxman, select the option
”Boxman“ and press ”OK“.
ÖIn order to start the game, press the ”OK“ button
in the line ”New Game“.
You have to move the Boxman in order to place
the boxes above the stars.
ÖTo move the Boxman, press the VOL+”, VOL-”,
CH-” or “ CH+” arrow buttons.
ÖPress ”OK“ in order to stop the game and to
switch to the left options column. In the
