Search and edit channels
In order to quickly search a channel or to change
the features of saved channels, select the
”Installation“ submenu.
Automatic channel search (Area search):
ÖFor an automatic search run, select the ”Area
search“ option.
ÖPress the "OK" key.
All available channels will be searched and stored in
a programme slot.
Manual search:
The individual settings for a station can be carried
out in this menu.
For this method, it is necessary to know the sear-
ched-for programme’s channel number, frequency
and bandwidth.
ÖFor changing the settings, use the “ VOL-” and
“ VOL+” arrow buttons.
ÖAfter having carried out all settings, the search
run is activated by pressing the “OK“ button.
All channels found in the area will be stored in a
programme slot.
Auto. Search:
In this menu, start and end frequency and band
width can be adjusted, in order to search for a spe-
cific frequency band.
ÖSelect the different options by using the “▼ CH-”
and “▲ CH+” arrow buttons.
ÖFor changing the settings, use the “ VOL-” and
“ VOL+” arrow buttons.
ÖAfter having carried out all settings, the search
run is activated by pressing the “OK“ button.
All channels found in the area will be stored in a
programme slot.
Child Protection/Password
(PIN code)
In the ”Parental Lock“, you can carry out the follo-
wing settings:
• changing the password.
Changing the password
You may change the password (PIN code) set in the
factory and enter any other four-digit number as
your personal PIN code. The password "0000" has
been pre-programmed in the factory.
Note your new password; once changed, only
the new code is valid for all password queries.
If you've forgotten your personal password,
you can assign a new password by means of
the master password "8888".
ÖEnter the old password (PIN) using the numercal
keys.
ÖEnter the new password using the numercal keys.
The display will automatically change to the menu
item ‘New PIN’.
ÖEnter the new password again.
The display will automatically change to the menu
item ‘Confirm PIN’.
The new password is integrated.
Factory defaults
The receiver is reset to its condition on delivery.
All of your settings and stored data are deleted.
ÖSelect the ”Factory default“ submenu in the
”Digital TV“ menu by using the “▼ CH-” and
“▲ CH+” arrow buttons.
ÖPress the ‘OK’ key to confirm.
You will be prompted to confirm your selection.
ÖIf you want to reset the receiver to factory setting,
select ”Yes“ by using the “VOL-” and “VOL+”
arrow buttons.
ÖSelect ”No“ if you want to exit the menu.
ÖConfirm your selection with ”OK“.
ÖWait until the receiver re-starts.
This process may take a few minutes.
ÖPress the "EXIT" key to return to the TV channel.
Changing time settings
You can select between the ”Auto timer mode“ and
”Manual timer mode“ menus in the ”Time“ sub-
menu.
„Auto timer mode“
If GMT is activated, select deviation from main time
(GMT) of your local time by adjusting it in the ”GMT
offset“ submenu.
Switch on/of summer time in the ”Summer
time“ menu option.
“Manual timer mode”
ÖIf GMT is activated, select ”Date“ using the
“▼ CH-” and “▲ CH+” arrow buttons.
ÖUse the “▼ CH- and ▲ CH+, VOL- and VOL+”
arrow keys to select the date and confirm your
selection with the OK key.
ÖTo set the correct time use the “▼ CH-” and
“▲ CH+” arrow keys to select the menu item
‘Time’.
ÖUse the numeral keys to set the current time.
ÖPress the ”OK“ button in order to save your
selection.
