Changing time settings
In the "Timer" sub-menu, you may choose between the "Time Adjust"
and "Time Reservation" menus.
Time and date settings
The "Time Adjust" menu offers the following setting options:
Setting Explanation
Set Local Time
Set the deviation from Greenwich Mean Time
(GMT) here.
Summer Time
Activate or deactivate the use of summer time
here.
Year/Month/Date/Hour
Set the specified values.
Setting the timer (Time Reservation)
The receiver can be programmed to switch to a specific channel at
the desired time. Up to ten timer functions are possible. This function
can be used e.g. to record a programme using the video recorder.
Set the timer as follows:
Switch to the "Timer Number" line and select the desired timer
number.
Select the channel in the following line.
For checking purposes, the name of the station which you have
selected is displayed in "Turn On Channel".
In the "Timer Type" option, you may choose between
"One Time"
"Weekly" and
"Monthly".
Select the desired option.
Depending on the option, set the desired time, day of the week or
date.
If the receiver is to switch itself on at the selected point in time,
select "Turn On" under "Event Type".
