• In the event of malfunctions, disconnect the receiver from the
power source.
The correct location
• Place the receiver onto a firm, level surface.
• Avoid placing it in the vicinity of:
- sources of heat such as e.g. radiators,
- naked flames such as e.g. candles,
- devices with strong magnetic fields such as e.g. loudspeakers.
• Avoid direct sunlight and locations with unusually high levels of
dust or humidity.
• Avoid subjecting the receiver to shocks.
• Never cover the ventilation slots. Ensure sufficient ventilation.
• Do not place heavy objects onto the receiver.
• Moisture may form inside the receiver if it is moved from a cold
environment to a warm environment. In this case, wait for
approximately two to three hours before commissioning the
receiver.
• Route the mains power cable and the antenna cable so that
nobody is able to tread on or stumble over them.
Correct use of batteries
• Batteries may contain toxins. Batteries must not fall into the
hands of children. Children may place batteries in their mouths
and swallow them.
• Leaking batteries may cause damage to the remote control. If you
do not use the receiver for a long period of time, remove the
batteries from the remote control.
• Batteries may contain toxins which cause damage to the
environment. Batteries must therefore be disposed of according
to the applicable legal regulations under all circumstances. Never
dispose of batteries in normal domestic waste.
