When connecting a cable, make sure the cable has a good connection and is
rmly attached to the rear panel connectors on both the amplier and the
CP-800.
e CP-800 also provides two Auxiliary analog audio outputs. See the section
on Conguration Setup for more details about the Auxiliary outputs. If used,
connect the AUX output(s) to its corresponding amplier(s) or subwoofer.
Step 5 Connect the loudspeakers to the amplifiers.
Important!
Verify that the power amplifier(s) is plugged in but powered
OFF before connecting to the CP-800
Connect each loudspeaker to its designated amplier(s) channel. Pay close
attention to the phase of the speaker connections – always connect an amplier’s
red (+) terminals to the red (+) terminals of the loudspeaker. Likewise, connect black
(–) terminals to black (–) terminals.
Step 6 Power up the system!
NowyouarereadytopowerupyourCP-800andyouraudiosystem.
• TurntherearpanelpowerswitchoftheCP-800toON
e Standby
LED will turn red.
• PressthestandbybuttonlocatednexttotheLED.
e initial power-
up cycle of the CP-800 takes a few seconds.
• Whenthepower-upcycleiscomplete,theCP-800entersOperate
mode and the touchscreen becomes active.
• PresstheStandby button to toggle the CP-800 into and out of
Standby.
e physical setup of the CP-800 and system components is complete.
