NOTE: e Balanced (XLR) Output pin assignments adhere to
the AES (Audio Engineering Society) “Pin 2 = hot” standard. e
XLR male outputs carry the following pin assignments:
Pin 1: Signal ground
Pin 2: Signal + (non-inverting)
Pin 3: Signal – (inverting)
Connector ground lug: chassis ground
Refer to the operating manuals of your balanced-input power
ampliers to verify that the pin assignments of their input
connectors adhere to this standard (Classé power ampliers are
compliant). If your ampliers are not compliant, it may not pose a
problem, but ask your Classé dealer for assistance.
13 Ethernet Connector
is connector is provided for an optional hardware module that will be
made available in the future. It is inoperable until the optional module has
been installed.
14 Main Power On/Off Switch
is switch connects and disconnects the CP-800 from AC.
15 AC Power Cord Input
e detachable three-conductor AC power cord and the socket into
which it connects conform to rigorous standards developed by the IEC
(International Electrotechnical Commission).
Danger! Your CP-800 contains potentially dangerous voltages and
current capabilities. Do not attempt to open it! There are no
user-serviceable parts inside. All service must be referred to a
qualified authorized Classé dealer or distributor.
