6. Clean the hose fitting in the recovery tank and spray
water down the squeegee hose to clean out debris.
7. Remove the vacuum hose adapter from the top of
the recovery tank by rotating it counter-clockwise
and pulling it upwards (see figure 47).
8. Remove the filter and the float assembly from the
recovery tank.
9. Rotate the filter inside the protection housing
counter-clockwise and remove it.
10. Thoroughly clean the filter and all of the component
parts with water.
11. Reinstall the filter and the float assembly and
replace it in the recovery tank.
12. Reinstall the lower cleaning port cover, making sure
that the gasket is in position.
13. Reinstall the drain plug and tighten.
Cleaning the Solution Tank and Filter
1. Move the machine so that the solution tank filter
assembly is located directly over a floor drain.
NOTE: The solution tank does not have a drain hose.
It is drained through the filter body located in the front
and underneath the machine (see figure 48).
2. Turn the key switch to the “OFF” position and set the
parking brake.
3. Close the solution flow valve by sliding it to its up most
position (see figure 49).
4. Unscrew the filter housing by turning it counter-
clockwise (see figure 48). Remove the filter screen
from the housing and clean it carefully.
5. With the filter body located above the floor drain, slide
the solution flow valve downward to its full open
position. The solution tank will immediately start
draining.
6. Clean inside the solution tank with a jet stream of
water.
7. Close the solution flow valve.
8. Replace the filter inside the housing and reinstall on
machine.
