General web publishing settings
You can specify the following web publishing settings on the Web Publishing > General Settings
tab:
• Select the logging level for web publishing.
• Set the maximum number of web publishing sessions.
To specify web publishing settings:
1. Choose Web Publishing > General Settings tab.
2. Click Save.

To Do this
Enable access logging Select Enable access logging, to generate the Web
Publishing Core internal access logs.
Access logging enables the Web Publishing Core
internal access logs, which are called
wpc_access_log.txt and pe_internal_access_log.txt.
Enable error logging Select Enable error logging, to generate the Web
Publishing Engine application log.
Error logging enables the Web Publishing Engine
application log, which is called pe_application_log.txt.
Log ScriptMaker
Errors Select ScriptMaker Errors to log errors in the
pe_application_log.txt file.
Only errors from ScriptMaker scripts run by Web
Publishing Engine requests are logged.
Log XSLT user errors Select User (XSLT only) to log messages generated by
the XSLT <xsl:message> element in XSLT stylesheets
in the pe_application_log.txt file.
Set the maximum number of web
publishing sessions
Specify the Maximum number of web publishing
sessions.
The number specified is the maximum number of
simultaneous client sessions allowed for all web
technologies enabled on FileMaker Server.
