ILEMAKER SERVER 9 HELP 147
Enabling email notifications in schedules
In this Schedule assistant step, you can enable a schedule to send an email notification when a task
is completed.
To enable email notification:
1. Select Send email notification.
2. Enter the email addresses that you want to notify.
You can enter multiple addresses separated by a comma.
Example: user1@email.com,user2@email.com,...
3. Click Next.
Click Back to return to the previous step or Cancel to exit the Schedule assistant.
Notes
• Email notifications are sent whether the schedule completes successfully or not. If email
notification for errors or warnings is enabled on the General Settings > Email Notification
tab, a second email message is sent to the email addresses specified on the tab. If an email
address appears on both lists, the addressee receives two email messages about the same
event. See Receiving email notifications only when a schedule fails
(page 148).
• Email notification requires the SMTP
server configuration settings specified on the General
Settings > Email Notification tab. The SMTP server settings are checked when this
Schedule assistant pane is displayed. If the SMTP server has not been configured, the
Schedule assistant opens a dialog box prompting you to configure the SMTP server after
this schedule is created.
