Scheduling administrative tasks Running server-side scripts
F
ILEMAKER SERVER 9 HELP 130
Running server-side scripts
FileMaker Server can run two types of scripts to automate administrative tasks:
• ScriptMaker
scripts defined in hosted databases. See Running ScriptMaker scripts (page
131).
• System-level script files. See Running system-level script files
(page 132).
Both types of scripts execute on the master
machine in your FileMaker Server deployment.
To run a script, create a scheduled task on FileMaker Server. Specify the script, and when and how
often to run the script. As with any schedule, you can run the scheduled task manually at any time.
