You see the conversion dialog box.
3. Type a name to rename the original file, or click to deselect the Rename
old file as checkbox to keep the name of the file, and then click OK.
The original file remains in the older format. After you click OK, another
dialog box appears so you can name the file that will be created and saved
in the new format. You can’t use the converted file with versions of
FileMaker Pro earlier than 3.0.
4. Click Save to start the conversion.
FileMaker Pro converts the file and opens it.
5. If Single-User appears in the File menu, select it to change it to Multi-User.
Database files must be set to Multi-User for FileMaker Pro Server to
host them.
6. Close the file.
You can now open this file with FileMaker Pro Server.
Examining the log file
FileMaker Pro Server creates a log file to help you keep track of its activities.
This file contains time-stamped information on:
1 FileMaker Pro Server starting up and quitting, as well as the size of the
database cache
1 database files opened and closed by FileMaker Pro Server
1 guests that connect and disconnect to FileMaker Pro Server, as well as the
files they access
1 any unusual condition that occurs when FileMaker Pro Server is running
