Files script steps operate on entire files. With Files script steps, you can:

Description
Allows the user to create a new database file. If the general preference for Show
FileMaker Quick Start Screen is selected, this script step opens the FileMaker Quick
Start Screen. Otherwise, this script step opens the “Create a new file named:” dialog box.
After the user exits the Manage Database dialog box, the script becomes active again,
and if script steps remain, the script continues. The new database remains open, but not
active.
