Reverses the most recent action performed in the file.

Cut [Select; <table::field>]
Options
• Select entire contents deletes the contents of a field and saves it to the Clipboard. If
you do not use Select entire contents, only the selected portion of the field's data is
cut.
• Select Go to target field or click Specify to select the field whose contents you want
to cut.
Web compatibility
This script step is web-compatible.
Description
Deletes the contents of the specified field in the current record and saves the contents to
the Clipboard. Cut removes the contents of the field. To duplicate the field information, use
the Copy script step on page 45.
Note In a web-published database, use a Commit Record/Request script step after a Cut
script step to update the record in the browser window.
