Laying out and arranging information 3-21
To set columns in a layout:
1. In Layout mode, choose the layout name from the layout pop-up menu.
2. Choose Layout Setup from the Mode menu.
3. In the Layout Setup dialog box, click Print in
<value>
columns.
4. Select options, and then click OK.
Keep these points in mind:
1 You only see columns when you preview or print data; you don’t see
columns in Browse mode.
To Do this
Set the number of columns For Print in
<value>
columns, type a number
from 1 to 99.
Arrange records row by row (left to right
and top to bottom)
Select Across first.
Arrange records column by column (top
to bottom and left to right)
Select Down first.
Include or exclude the layout in the layout
pop-up menu
To include the layout, select Include in layouts
menu. To exclude the layout, deselect this
option.
Set margins Select Fixed margins and type values for Top,
Bottom, Left, and Right.
Print facing pages Select Facing pages.
Select column options
Click to print facing pages
Set margin options
