Publishing files on the Web 11-25
The Developer’s Guide in the CDML Reference database provides
general information about Custom Web Publishing and step-by-step
instructions on using the CDML Tool to create format files.
You can start a new format file by:
1 using one of the templates in the CDML Tool (see “Using the CDML
templates” in the Developer’s Guide)
1 copying and pasting CDML tags from the CDML Tool to existing
HTML pages (see “Adding CDML tags to format files” in the
Developer’s Guide)
1 modifying one of the format files in the Web folder (see “Working
with the sample solutions” in the Developer’s Guide)
1 customizing one of the template files in the Web Tools folder
Note The CDML Reference focuses primarily on the CDML syntax. For
information about working with HTML, see an HTML reference book.
