FileMaker Pro basics 1-3
A database file contains one or more records. Each record holds all the
information about one subject (like one person or one identification
number). For example, each record in a Clients file would contain the
name and address of one client.
Each piece of information in a record—like name, address, and
telephone number—is stored in a field. You create the fields for each
database file.
Choose FileMaker Help Index from the Help menu, and then type:
