4. Define the value list.
To Do this
Create a list of values Select Use custom values, and then type each value on a separate
line, in the order you want them to appear. Press Return to
separate each value.
Choose from existing
values in a different
field
Select Use values from a field, and then click Specify Field. In the
Specify Field for Value List dialog box, to choose from a field
in a different file, click Specify File, and then choose a filename.
For Use values from this field, click the name of a field, and then
click OK.
Choose from existing
values in a second
field
In the Specify Field for Value List dialog box, select Also display
values from, click a field name, and then click OK.
Select this option to display the values from a corresponding
field next to the values in your value list. For example, to help
with data entry, you could display part names next to part
numbers.
Produce a separator
line between items in a
pop-up menu or
pop-up list, or produce
spaces between radio
buttons or checkboxes
In the list of custom values, type a hyphen on a separate line
where you want the separator line or space to appear, and then
press Return.
Delete a value list In the list of names, select the value list, and then click Delete.
Duplicate a value list In the list of names, select the value list, and then click Duplicate.
