Note Depending on the printer and version of the system software you
use, the Print Setup dialog box might contain different options. See your
printer manual.
Creating a Labels layout
1.
In Layout mode, choose New Layout from the Mode menu.
2. In the New Layout dialog box, for Type, select Labels.
3. Select other options, and then click OK.
4. In the Label Setup dialog box, select options, and then click OK.

Select the printer Choose Print Setup from the File menu, and then select a printer.
Set the laser or ink
jet printer options
Choose Print Setup from the File menu. For Size, select the size of
the mailing label sheets you plan to use (usually Letter in the U.S.
and A4 elsewhere), and then click OK.
Create a custom
paper size for a
dot-matrix printer
Set up a custom paper size in the Printers control panel. Then
choose Print Setup from the File menu. For Size, select your custom
paper size, and then click OK.
Choose FileMaker Help Index from the Help menu, and then type:

For Layout Name, type a name.
Include or exclude
the layout in the
layout pop-up menu
To include the layout, select Include in layouts menu. To exclude the
layout, deselect this option. (For example, you might exclude layouts
when you want to give users access only to a particular layout.)

Create custom
measurements
Use custom measurements, and then type values for Labels across the
page, Width, and Height. See “Creating custom labels” on page 3-16.
