Note Layouts used with FileMaker Pro Web Companion Instant Web
Publishing do not display graphics or text objects when viewed on the
Web. You can create custom HTML pages that include graphics and text
objects when you use FileMaker Pro Web Companion Custom Web
Publishing. For more information, see chapter 11, “Publishing files on
the Web.”
You make changes to a layout by using the tools available in
Layout mode.
Graphic objects: Use lines, rectangles, rounded
rectangles, ovals, and graphics anywhere
on a layout to add interest and emphasis
Parts: Use headers, footers,
the body, and summaries to
divide a layout into special
purpose areas
Text: Use for titles,
column headings, field
labels, instructions,
and form letters
Fields: Use for entering
and displaying data
The page: The chosen printer, current
page setup, and layout type determine
how information looks on the printed page
