Working with OLE objects
You can show, copy and paste, activate or deactivate, edit, and convert
OLE objects. You can also change and update links.
Note When you work with an OLE object, many features and commands
you use depend on the application that created the object. See the
documentation that came with the application for more information.
Showing OLE objects
To identify OLE objects in a FileMaker Pro file, choose Objects from the
Edit menu, and then choose Show Objects. In Layout mode, you see a
border around OLE objects on layouts. In Browse mode, you see a
border around objects in container fields. Object borders don’t print.
Choose FileMaker Help Index from the Help menu, and then type:

a dashed border
