Defining a relationship for a lookup
1. In the Define Relationships dialog box, click New.
2. In the Open File dialog box, double-click the name of the related file.
3. In the Edit Relationship dialog box, for Relationship Name, you can
type a unique name for the relationship (otherwise, FileMaker Pro
uses the name of the related file).
Don’t include colons (:) in the name. FileMaker Pro ignores spaces at
the end of the name.
4. Select a match field in the master file and a match field in the
related file.
5. Click OK, and then click Done.
