Specifying a printer
When you start FileMaker Pro for the first time, it uses the Windows
default printer (selected in the Start menu under Settings, Printers) as its
default printer. If you specify a different printer in the Print Setup dialog
box, it becomes the default printer for FileMaker Pro.
You specify the default printer for Windows and FileMaker Pro
independently. If you change one default, it doesn’t affect the other. To
specify the FileMaker Pro default printer:
1. Choose Print Setup from the File menu.
2. In the Print Setup dialog box, choose a printer from the drop-down list.
3. Select the page orientation (Portrait to print vertically, Landscape to
print horizontally).
4. Choose a paper size and source from the drop-down lists, and then
click OK.
