Upper

Purpose

Returns all letters in specified text as uppercase.

Format

Upper(text)

Parameters

text - any text expression or text field

FileMaker Pro 6.0 or earlier

Description

Use the Upper function to ensure consistent data entry of such things as state abbreviations or

postal codes.

Examples

Upper(“Ca”) returns CA.

Upper(“12n34p”) returns 12N34P.
