Get(SystemPlatform)

Purpose

Returns a number representing the current platform.

Format

Get(SystemPlatform)

Parameters

None

Data type returned

number

Originated in

FileMaker Pro 6.0 or earlier

Description

Returns:

• 1 if the current platform is Intel-based Macs

• -2 if the platform is Windows

• 3 if the platform is iOS

• 4 if the platform is FileMaker WebDirect

Examples

Get(SystemPlatform) returns -2 when the current platform is a Windows platform.
