Get(HostApplicationVersion)

Purpose

Returns the version of FileMaker Pro or FileMaker Server running on the computer hosting the

current file.

Format

Get(HostApplicationVersion)

FileMaker Pro 9.0

Description

Displays a value when used with the same or higher version of FileMaker Pro or FileMaker Server

software. If the current file is not

shared or hosted, this function returns an empty string. Also returns

an empty string when used from the host computer itself.

Examples

Returns Pro 14.0v1 when the host computer is running FileMaker Pro 14 version 1.

Returns ProAdvanced 14.0v1 when the host computer is running FileMaker Pro 14 Advanced

version 1.

Returns Server 14.0v1 when the host computer is running FileMaker Server 14 version 1.
