Charging the battery in the vehicle
CAUTION
To protect the N.I.C.E. 430 from receiving a sud-
den surge of current, start the ignition before
plugging into the cigarette lighter.
1. Start the vehicle’s ignition.
2. Plug in the mini-USB end of the Vehicle charging cable into the USB
connector on the bottom edge of the N.I.C.E. 430.

3. Plug the other end into the cigarette lighter.
Navigating to a destination
1. Tap the navigation icon on the Main menu. It takes approximately 10
seconds to load the map and display the navigation menu.

Confi gure navigation
View Global Positioning
System (GPS) status
Current position
Current date and time
Open map screen
Display software information
Return to the Main menu
2. Tap Destination. The N.I.C.E. 430 displays the Find menu.
3. Tap Address or POI (point of interest) and defi ne the location.
When you’re fi nished, the N.I.C.E. 430 displays the map.
