iPod
Operations
Selecting
a
track
• Track-up
1.
Press the
[~~]
button during playback to
move ahead to the beginning of the next
track.
•
Track-down
1.
Press the [

] button during playback to
move back
to
the beginning of the current
track.
2.
Press the [

] button again within 2
seconds after the beginning of the track to
move to the beginning of the previous track.
Fast-forward/fast-rewind
•
Fast-forward
Press and hold the
[~~]
button for 1 second or
longer during playback.

Fast-rewind
Press and hold the [

] button for 1 second or
longer during playback.
All
play
This plays back all the tracks. It corresponds to
the iPod operation of playing back tracks
sequentially by selecting
"Music"'"
"Songs"
from the menu of the iPod.

Press and hold the [BNO] button for 1
second or longer.
It changes to the ALL PLAY mode, and all
the tracks stored
in
the iPod are played back
sequentially.
Repeat
play
This repeat playback of the track currently
played back. It corresponds to the iPod
operation of selecting "Settings"
...
"Repeat
(one)" from the menu of
~he
iPod.
1.
Press the [RPT] button.
2.
To
cancel the repeat playback, press the
[RPT] button again.
All
repeat
play
This repeat playback of the all tracks. It
corresponds to the iPod operation of selecting
"Settings"
...
"Repeat (ALL)" from the menu of
the iPod.
1.
Press and hold the [RPT] button for 1 second
or longer.
2.
To
cancel All repeat playback, press the
[RPT] button again.

Random
play
This specifies random playback of the tracks
included
in
the album. It corresponds to
the iPod operation of selecting "Settings"
...
"Shuffle
(Albums)"
from the menu of the iPod.
1.
Press the [ROM] button.
2.
To
cancel the random playback, press the
[ROM] button again.
All
random
play
This specifies random playback of all the tracks.
It corresponds to the i
Pod
operation of
selecting "Settings"
...
"Shuffle
(Songs)" from
the menu of the iPod.
1.
Press and hold the [ROM] button for 1
second or longer.
2.
To
cancel the All random playback, press the
[ROM] button again.
Selecting tracks
in
the
iPod
MENU
mode
In
the iPod mode, you can select tracks by the
album title or artist name by the similar
operations on the iPod as well as the iPod Music
menu.
Notes:
•
If
you do
not
operate for 10 seconds
or
longer
after switching to the iPod MENU mode, the iPod
MENU mode is canceled,
and
it changes to the
general iPod mode.
•
In
the iPod MENU mode, you cannot specify the
fast-forward, fast-backward, repeat
and
random
playback.
1.
Press the [BNO] button
in
the iPod mode.
*The "CAT" indicator is lit when the system
enters
in
the iPod MENU mode. Press the
[BND] button again to return to the iPod
mode.
2.
Turn the [ROTARY] knob to select the menu,
then press the
[~~]
button.

of the [DIRECT]
