2005 Product Application Guide
The Ultimate Center-Channel Solution
Several of Clarion’s competitors have tried it, but none
has perfected it quite like Clarion’s SRK5 center-channel
speaker system. Roughly the size of a half-DIN equalizer,
the unit’s included 50-watt amplifier makes it ready to
install right out of the box. This center-channel solution
utilizes five 3/4-inch full-
range speakers in a sealed
enclosure. For midbass sup-
port, the unit comes with
two additional rear-mounted
1-inch speakers, which
are ported to the front.
VCZ625 6-Disc “MULTIMEDIA” Changer
A key message you need to get across when selling
this CeNET-controlled component is that it’s a 6-disc
DVD/CD/MP3 changer. That’s a lot of entertainment
possibilities to offer your
customer. Best of all, the
unit is optimized for great
sound with a 24-Bit digital-
to-analog converter.
All-New In-Dash DVD Player
For those looking for an in-dash solution to DVD playback,
Clarion’s all-new VS755 is the perfect answer. Offering
DVD, CD and MP3 playback, the units offers
2 A/V inputs, including one on the front panel. Other
features include an audio gain controller, 24-Bit D/A
conversion, and an adjustable aspect ration (16:9/4:3).
TV Tuners
Completing Clarion’s multimedia
lineup is the CeNET-controlled
TTX7501z, and standalone- or
slave-operated TTX001 TV tuners.
For reception, Clarion offers two
different glass-mount antennas.
Video Amplifier
If you are building a multiple monitor rear-seat entertain-
ment system, then the VA700 is a must-have component.
Able to support up to seven monitors, the video amplifier
prevents that dark-picture look caused by signal loss.
Multi-Zone Switcher
Clarion MSS430 “Source Commander” is a combination
audio/video switcher outfitted with a built-in video distribu-
tion amplifier. Offering four audio inputs with individual
gain controls, the MSS430 can send audio and video to
any three monitors and headphones, independently. This
means three video programs can be playing at the same
time on a three-screen video system. For sound, the
Source Commander’s line level output can feed any of
Clarion’s WH104/WH204/WH105 wireless headphones,
as well as on AUX input on any source unit or equalizer.
Rear-View Camera System
Clarion’s CK525E is a must-have accessory for owners
of SUVs and motor homes. The kit includes Clarion’s
CC1030E a camera that’s
1.9 inches in width, 1.4 inches
in height, and has a depth 1.8
inches CAA188 power sup-
ply, and a 23-foot MF23RM
camera cable. The camera is
perfect for larger vehicles,
such as SUVs, trucks and
motor homes.

2005 Product Application Guide
Offer your customers two monitors in one with Clarion’s
OHM102 (10.2-inch) and OHM153 (15.3-inch) overhead
monitors. Equipped with “Picture In Picture” technology,
your customer’s rear-seat passengers can watch two
video sources simultaneously. To demonstrate, just press
the PIP button on the control panel to toggle through the
optional views.
Dual Viewing and Listening
Augmenting this dual viewing feature is Clarion’s dual IR
audio output technology, which allows users to switch
between two entertainment sources directly from the two
included wireless headphones.
Cosmetically, both units sport ultra-compact shrouds, and
universal mounting brackets. Differentiating the two is the
OHM102’s swivel mechanism, which allows users to direct
the screen to the optimal viewing angle.
Headrest Monitors
Clarion’s VMA7194 (7-inch) and VMA5894 (5.8-inch)
offer high-resolution TFT active matrix displays with two
viewing formats 16:9/4:3.
Other features include 2 A/V
inputs and a built-in IR audio
system (wireless headphones
sold separately). Dual Audio out
technology allows for separate
zones without any switches.
Sensory Overload: Add-On Goodies
If you’re not introducing your customer to more than
a rear-seat entertainment system with FM-modulated
sound sorry, but you’re missing the boat. What about
5.1-channel surround for the car? The message here is
don’t sell yourself short when it comes to Clarion’s full-line
of mobile multimedia products
DVH940 Surround Sound Processor
Car audio is about an experience of great sound. So don’t
let your customer’s experience be an FM-modulated rear-
seat entertainment system. If anything, just plant the seed
as well as the great price of Clarion’s DVH940 surround
sound processor.
Key features include Dolby Digital and dts processing,
selectable crossovers (front, center and rear,
50Hz/80Hz/120Hz), 24-Bit D/A Converters, 4-Volt/6-
Channel RCA line level outputs, and digital sound field
settings. Additionally, the DVH940 can optimize a system
for different source material by allowing users to adjust
the center and subwoofer volumes independently.
Also included is a built-in 1/3-octave Parametric EQ,
allowing for front-, rear- and center-channel adjustments
(frequency, gain, and Q) using a built-in “Pink Noise”
generator. The DVH940 also offers 7 DSP surround set-
tings Club, Theater, and more, as well as a digital time
alignment option. This feature allows you to set speaker
delays to compensate for sonic discrepancies caused by
a vehicle’s interior design.
The processor also comes equipped with Dolby Pro Logic II
decoding, which produces quasi-5.1-channel surround
from any two-channel stereo source (including CD, MP3
and FM tuner). It does this by creating a phantom center
channel using the two front speakers, as well as a sur-
round and subwoofer channel.
