in the instrument panel
intheformofanarrow.It
may be accompanied by a
recommendedgear.
The system adapts its gear
change recommendation
according to the driving conditions
(slope,load,...)andthedemands
of the driver (power, acceleration,
braking,...).
Thesystemneversuggests:
- engagingrstgear,
- engagingreversegear.
With an electronic gearbox, the system
isonlyactiveinmanualmode.
GEAR SHIFT INDICATOR
Depending on the driving situation and
your vehicle's equipment, the system
mayadviseyoutoskipone(ormore)
gear(s).Youcanfollowthisinstruction
without engaging the intermediate
gears.
The gear engagement
recommendations must not be
consideredcompulsory.Thisis
becausethecongurationoftheroad,
thetrafcdensityandsafetyremain
determining factors when choosing
thebestgear.Therefore,thedriver
remains responsible for deciding
whether or not to follow the indications
given.
Thisfunctioncannotbedeactivated.
