ISOFIX MOUNTINGS
Your vehicle has been approved in
accordancewiththelatestISOFIXregulation.
The mountings comprise three rings for each
seat.
Two front rings A, located between
thevehicleseatbackrestandcushion,
indicatedbyamarking.
A rear ring B,locatedontheback
ofthevehicle'sseatbackrest,for
securing the upper strap referred to as
theTopTether.
The Top Tether is used to secure the
upper strap of child seats that have
one.Thisarrangementlimitsthe
forward tipping of the child seat in the
eventofafrontalimpact.
This ISOFIX mounting system
guarantees you fast, reliable and safe
ttingofthechildseatinyourvehicle.
TheISOFIXchildseatsarettedwith
two latches which are secured on the
two front rings A.
Some also have an upper strap which
is attached to the rear ring B.
Follow strictly the instructions for
ttingchildseatscontainedinthe
manufacturer'sinstallationguide.
To secure the child seat to the
TopTether:
- remove and stow the head restraint
before installing the child seat in
thisseatingposition(retitonce
the child seat has been removed),
- pass the upper strap of the child
seat over the top of the seat
backrest,betweentheaperturesfor
the head restraint rods,
- securethehookontheupperstrap
to the rear ring,
- tightentheupperstrap.
The incorrect installation of a child
seat in a vehicle compromises the
protection of the child in the event
ofanaccident.
