CARRYING CHILDREN
General points
CITROËN recommends that
children should travel in the rear
seatsofyourvehicle:
- rearward facing up to the age of 3,
- forward facingovertheageof3.
Although one of CITROËN's main
criteria when designing your vehicle,
the safety of your children also
dependsonyou.
* The regulations on carrying children
arespecictoeachcountry.Referto
thelegislationinforceinyourcountry.
For maximum safety, please observe
thefollowingrecommendations:
- in accordance with European
regulations, all children under the
age of 12 or less than one and
a half metres tall must travel in
approved child seats suited to
their weight,onseatsttedwitha
seat belt or ISOFIX mountings*,
- statistically, the safest seats in
your vehicle for carrying children
are the rear seats,
- a child weighing less than 9 kg
must travel in the rearward
facing position both in the front
and in the rear.
