3. Ensure the MD II power is off.
4. Connect the Printer as shown in Figure 3.4-3. Connect the power cord last.

5. Perform a Printer self-test on the Ticket Printer as instructed under Heading D.1, EPSON
TM-290P SLIP PRINTER, and verify that all the characters print legibly.
CAUTION
Risk of damage to equipment. Turning the instrument’s power ON before connecting the Printer
to the instrument could damage the instrument. Ensure the power is OFF before connecting the Printer.
