4.22 PERISTALTIC PUMP MOTOR AND SPOOL
Tools/Supplies Needed
B #2 Phillips-head screwdriver
B 1/16 in. HEX-key wrench
B DOW CORNING 33 Lubricant, PN 1604007-0
Removal
1. Turn OFF the instrument’s power.
2. Access the Peristaltic Pump Assembly:
a. Open the small door on the left side of the unit that holds the diluent reservoir
(Figure 4.22-1).

b. Disconnect the diluent sensor connector and lift the door off its hinges.
c. Prop the door out of the way toward the rear of the instrument, keeping in mind
that the diluent tank will spill any fluid it contains, if laid on its side.
