NOTE: If the watch should reach a low or no charge state,
display something improperly or a malfunction is suspected,
the ALL RESET PROCEDURE and 0-POSITIONING CHECK
AND CORRECTION must be performed.
Please make sure the second hand is moving in
one second increments. This indicates the watch is
properly charged. If addi tional charging is needed,
see the instruction manual for guidance.
The analog time (large hour, minute and 24-hour
hand) cannot be set independently of the digital time
and the digital time must be set FIRST in order to set
the analog time.
ALL RESET PROCEDURE
Turn the crown to set the mode hand to the
chronograph (CHR) mode.
Pull out the crown to the first ‘click’ (0-position correction
mode). The second, minute, hour, 24-hour, and function
hands rapidly advance to the 0-position stored in memory.
Press the upper right (A), lower right (B) and lower left (C)
buttons simultaneously and then release. All segments of
both digital displays are shown when either of the buttons
is released. These fully lit displays are canceled when the
crown is returned to the normal position.
After canceling, a confirmation tone is sounded after
which each of the hands perform a demonstration of
the movement in the order of the second, function,
and minute hands to indicate that the ALL RESET
PROCEDURE is finished.
Continue with the 0-POSITIONING CHECK AND
CORRECTION.
0-POSITIONING CHECK AND CORRECTION
Turn the crown clockwise or counterclockwise to
move the mode hand to chronograph (CHR) position.
Pull the crown out one ‘click’ to go to 0-position
correction mode. All hands must indicate 0-position
and digital display II must show ‘F-H (function hand).’
Turn the crown clockwise to advance the chrono/
race timer minute register hand (small upper right
indicator), and turn the crown counterclockwise to
move the hand backward.
Press and release the upper right button (A) to change
minute, hour and 24-hour hands. Turn the crown
clockwise to advance the hands or counterclockwise
to move the hands backward.
Press and release the upper right button (A) to change
the second hand. Turn the crown clockwise to move
second hand to the 0-position.
Push the crown in. Continue with TO SET THE TIME.
TO SET THE TIME
Turn the crown clockwise or counterclockwise to
move the mode hand to the TME position.
Press and release the upper right button (A) to change
city code eastward or the lower right button (B) to
move westward.
When city code has been selected, pull the crown out
one ‘click.’ SMT (summertime) flashes.
Press and release the lower right button (B) to select
daylight or standard time (ON indicates daylight saving,
OFF indicates standard) hour hand will move accordingly.
Press and release the upper right button (A). Seconds
will flash. Reset seconds by pressing the lower right
button (B).
Press and release the upper right button (A). Minutes
will flash. Turn the crown clockwise to advance
minutes or counterclockwise to move the minutes
backward. For rapid advancement of the minutes, turn
the crown clockwise quickly two or three ‘clicks’ and
minutes will change rapidly until the crown is turned
one ‘click’ in either direction.
Press and release the upper right button (A). Hours will
flash. Rotate crown to change hours. Press the lower right
button (B) to select AM/PM (12H) or military time (24H).
Push the crown in to finalize setting of digital time.
All other cities are adjusted automatically when one
city is set to correct time.
After you have set the digital time, you may want the
analog (hands) time to also indicate the time in your
zone (city code). Press the lower right (B) and upper
right (A) buttons simultaneously. The digital time (your
time zone) will be switched to the analog display
and vice versa. City code and digital time can now
be changed to your time zone by pressing the upper
right button (A) (eastward) or lower right button (B)
(westward). Both analog and digital time now match.
If you want a time zone different than that shown on
the digital display to be shown by the analog (hands),
move the digital time to the desired zone and repeat
the switching function.
TO SET THE CALENDAR
Turn the crown clockwise or counterclockwise to
move the Mode hand to the calendar (CAL) position.
Press and release the upper right button (A) to change
city code eastward or the lower right button (B) to
move westward.
When the desired city code has been selected, pull
the crown out one ‘click.’ Month (numeric) will flash.
Turn the crown clockwise to advance month, turn the
crown counterclockwise to move the month backward. To
rapid advance the month, turn the crown clockwise quickly
two or three ‘clicks’ and month will change rapidly until
the crown is turned one ‘click’ in either direction.
Press and release the upper right button (A). Date will
flash. Use the crown in the same manner used to set
the month to correct the date.
Press and release the upper right button (A). Year will
flash. Use the crown in the same manner used to set
the month to set the year.
Push the crown in to finalize calendar setting. Year
will disappear and day will be shown instead.
TO SET THE ALARMS (1 AND 2)
Turn the crown clockwise or counterclockwise to
move the Mode hand to alarm 1 (AL-1) position.
Press and release the upper right button (A) to change
city code eastward or the lower right button (B) to
move westward.
When the city code has been selected, pull the crown
out one ‘click.’ The alarm setting display flashes.
Press the lower right button (B) to set alarm ON or OFF.
Press and release the upper right button (A). Hours will
flash. Turn the crown clockwise to advance the hours or
counter clockwise to move the hours backward. For rapid
advancement of the hours, turn the crown clockwise
quickly two or three ‘clicks’ and hours will change rapidly
until the crown is turned one ‘click’ in either direction.
Press and release the upper right button (A). Minutes
will flash. Correct the minutes by using the crown in
the same manner used to set the hours.
Push the crown in to finalize alarm setting. Alarm 2 is
set in the same way as alarm 1. When either alarm
sounds, press any button to stop sounding. When the
lower right (B) and upper right (A) buttons are pushed
simultaneously in alarm mode, the alarm monitor sounds.
TO USE THE CHRONOGRAPH
Turn the crown clockwise or counter clockwise to
move the mode hand to chronograph (CHR) position.
If the second hand does not move to the 12:00
position, refer to the 0-POSITIONING CHECK AND
CORRECTION section.
Press and release the upper right button (A) to start
or stop time measurement.
The chrono/race timer minute register hand (small
upper right indicator hand) serves as the minute
recorder hand of chronograph.
While the chronograph is running, press the lower
right button (B) for split time. Display now shows
elapsed time for 10 seconds while continuing to
measure elapsed time internally. After 10 seconds,
display picks up counting at the true elapsed time
and continues running until either the lower right
button (B) is pressed for split time again, or the upper
right button (A) is pressed to stop.
After the chronograph is stopped, press the lower
right button (B) to reset to 0.
TO USE THE COUNTDOWN TIMER
Turn the crown clockwise or counterclockwise to
move the mode hand to timer (TMR) position.
Pull the crown out one ‘click’ and turn the crown
clockwise to move minutes backward. For rapid
advancement of the minutes, turn the crown clockwise
quickly two or three ‘clicks’ and minutes will change
rapidly until the crown is turned one ‘click’ in either
direction. Push the crown in to finalize timer setting.
Push the upper right button (A) to start or stop the
timer countdown.
Push the lower right button (B) while the timer is running
for fly back (to timer set time) and automatic restart.
Push the lower right button (B) when the timer is
stopped to return timer to set time standby.

ALL RESET AND 0-POSITIONING PROCEDURE
Press and release the lower left button (C) until in
the chronograph (CHR) mode.
Pull the crown out one ‘click.’
Press and hold the upper right button (B), lower right
button (A) and lower left button (C) simultaneously for
3 seconds, then release. All segments of the digital
display will show, the hands will move back and forth
and finally the digital display will show:
Top section : 0000
Middle Section : 00000
Lower Section : - - 0 - -
Press and hold the upper right button (B) for 2 or more
seconds, then release. The digital display will show
“CRS” and the 1-second chronograph hand will move
back and forth.
Press and release the upper right button (B)
repeatedly to move the 1-second chronograph hand
to 60 (straight up)
Press and release the lower left button (C). The ‘main
time’ second hand will move counter clock-wise three
rotations and the digital display will show ‘CRM’.
The 1/100-second chronograph hand will move back
and forth.
Press and release the upper right button (B)
repeatedly until the 1/10 and 1/100 second
chronograph hands point straight up to 00 (12:00
position).
Press and release the lower left button (C). The hour
hand will move back and forth and the digital display
will show “HR”.
Press and release the upper right button (B) or lower
right button (A) to move the hour and 24-hour hands
straight up to the 12:00 position.
Press and release the lower left button (C).The
‘main time’ second hand will rotate clockwise three
rotations and the digital display will show “MIN.”
Press and release the upper right button (B) or lower
right button (A) to move the minute and ‘main time’
second hand to the 12:00 position.
Push the crown in one ‘click’. The ‘main time’ and
calendar must be set.
TO SET THE ‘MAIN TIME’ AND CALENDAR
NOTE: The analog and world times are driven by the
time set in the main time/calendar mode.
Press and release the lower left button (C) until the
calendar is shown in the digital display.
Pull crown out one ‘click.’ The city will flash.
Press and release either the upper right button (B)
or lower right button (A) to change the city to your
time zone.
Press and release lower left button (C). ‘OFF’ or ‘ON’
will flash (DST).
Press and release lower right button (A) to turn DST
(daylight saving time) ‘ON’ or ‘OFF’.
Press and release lower left button (C). The seconds
will flash.
Press and release lower right (A) button to reset
seconds to ‘00’ (seconds will start from 00).
Press and release lower left button (C). The minutes
will flash.
Press and release either the upper right button (B)
or lower right button (A) to change the minutes.
NOTE: The upper right button (B) will advance the
minutes while lower right button (A) will decrement
the minutes.
Press and release lower left button (C). The hours
will flash.
Press and release either the upper right button (B) or
lower right button (A) to change hours. NOTE: The
upper right button (B) will advance the hours while
the lower right button (A) will decrement the hours.
If using 12-hour time for your main time, be sure
to pay attention to the AM (A) or PM (P) indicator
located just above the hours to ensure the proper
AM or PM time is set.
Press and release lower left button (C). The ‘12’ or
‘24H’ indicator will flash.
Press and release the lower right button (A) to change
from 12-hour (12) to 24-hour (24H) display.
Press and release the lower left button (C). The month
of year will flash.
Press and release either the upper right button (B) or
lower right button (A) to change month. NOTE: The
upper right button (B) will advance the month while
the lower right button (A) will decrement the month.
Press and release the lower left button (C). The date
of month will flash.
Press and release either the upper right button (B) or
lower right button (A) to change the day of month.
NOTE: The upper right button (B) will advance the
date while the lower right button (A) will decrement
the date.
Press and release the lower left button (C). The year
will flash.
Press and release either the upper right (B) or lower
right (A) button to change the year. NOTE: The upper
right button (B) will advance the year while the lower
right button (A) will decrement the year.
Return the crown to the closed position by pushing it
in one ‘click’ to the closed position next to the case.
The analog hands will change to the time just set and
the current year, month, date and day of week will
show in the digital display.
TO USE THE CHRONOGRAPH
NOTE: The ‘main time’ second hand does not reflect
chronograph timing. Be sure to refer to the 1-second,
1/10-second and 1/100-second chronograph hands as
well as the digital display when referring to chronograph
operations.
Press and release the lower left button (C) until in the
chronograph (CHR) mode.
Press and release the upper right button (B) to engage
the chronograph. Along with the digital display, the
1-second, 1/10-and 1/100 second chronograph hands
will commence timing operations. NOTE: The 1/10
and 1/100-second chronograph hands will operate
for a period of 1 minute when the chronograph is
active and the upper right button (B) is pressed
and released.
To activate the ‘split time’ model, press and release
the lower right button (A) while the chronograph is
active. The digital display will pause visible timing
allowing reference to the split time. Visible timing
will resume after 10-seconds.
Press and release the upper right button (B) to stop
the chronograph.
Press and release the lower right button (A) to reset
the chronograph to zero.
