3-10-1 Disassembly and Assembly of Standard Model
The disassembly procedure is explained mainly. When assembling the parts, follow the disassembly
procedure in reverse.
♦ Removing the Sector Gear Plates 1 and 2
1) Remove screws A (1 pc. each), and remove sector gear plate 1 and sector gear plate 2 from the
platen chassis.
♦ Removing the Platen Chassis
1) Remove E rings (2 pcs.), washer A (1 pc.), washers B (3 pcs.), spring L (with spring cap) and
spring R1, and remove the platen chassis from the base frame.
* Pull the bottom (where the mounting holes are located) of the platen chassis outwards
when removing the platen chassis.
* In the case of the auto cutter (optional) model, open the cable retainer of the auto cutter
cable upwards and remove the cable.
