3-9 Disassembly and Assembly of the Printing Unit
The disassembly procedure is explained mainly. When assembling the parts, follow the disassembly
procedure in reverse.
* The manual cutter, lower blade, head cover, SA print head, and ribbon mask can be removed
from the printer fully assembled.
♦ Removing the Manual Cutter
1) Remove screws A (2 pcs.), and remove the manual cutter from the cutter plate.
♦ Removing the Lower Blade (Optional)
1) Remove screw B (1 pc.), and remove the lower blade from the cutter plate.
♦ Removing the Cutter Plate
1) Remove screws C (4 pcs.), and remove the cutter plate from the main frame.
