3-5 Disassembly and Assembly of the Rear Cover, Window and
Rear Plate
3-5-1 Disassembly and Assembly of Standard Model
The disassembly procedure is explained mainly. When assembling the parts, follow the disassembly
procedure in reverse.
♦ Removing Rear Cover N and Window N
1) Slide the knob in the direction of the arrow and open rear cover N.
2) Remove screws A (2 pcs.), and remove rear cover N from the platen chassis.
* Push the claws at rear cover N outwards when removing rear cover N.
3) Remove window N from rear cover N.
♦ Precaution when Mounting Window N
• When mounting window N on rear cover N, fit the boss on rear cover N into the corresponding
hole on window N.
