Protocol
These settings are for printers with the serial interface and displayed only when the serial board is
mounted. The above 5 items of InterfaceSW are printed only with printers equipped with an
RS232C I/F PC board.

Paper Width
Selects the paper size.
Initial value: According to the setting of internal maintenance function.
Auto-Cutter
Selects the cutter operation from OFF, FREE, FULL or PAR.
When it is OFF, cutting cannot be operated by FULL or PAR. command.
In FREE status, full cut or partial cat is operated according to FULL or PAR. command, respectively.
In FULL status, full cut is always performed by either FULL or PAR. command.
In PAR. status, partial cut is always performed by either FULL or PAR. command.
Initial value: According to the setting of internal maintenance function.
Color Ribbon
Selects the color function from ON or OFF. While it is OFF, the color changing command is
ignored.
Initial value: According to the setting of internal maintenance function.
Take-Up Device
Selects the rewinder function from ON or OFF. While it is OFF, the rewinder motor does not
operate.
