6-6 Maintenance Function
If FEED switch is held down while the printer is turned on with the front cover opened and the rear
cover closed, the maintenance mode is started.
Status: Offline
LED indication: POWER LED flashes at 0.3 second intervals( ). P.OUT and
ERROR LEDs are off.
In this status, close the front cover and select the function by pressing FEED switch the following
number of times.
Types of maintenance function
(1) HEX dump mode
Pressing FEED switch 0 times. POWER LED flashes at 0.3 second intervals ( ).
P.OUT and ERROR LEDs are off.
(2) Soft SW setting mode
Pressing FEED switch 1 time. POWER and P.OUT LEDs flash at 0.3 second intervals
( ). ERROR LED is off.
(3) Initial factory shipping mode
Pressing FEED switch 2 times. POWER, P.OUT and ERROR LEDs flash at 0.3 second
intervals ( ).
(4) Cut position adjustment mode
Pressing FEED switch 3 times. POWER and ERROR LEDs flash at 0.3 second intervals
( ). P.OUT LED is off.
6-6-1 HEX Dump Mode
If the front cover is reopened and closed in maintenance mode (POWER LED is flashing), POWER
LED stops flashing and remains lit, and the printer enters HEX dump mode. After printing the title,
it stands by to receive data.
* To exit from HEX dump mode, the printer needs to be turned off.
* FEED switch works in the same manner as usual operation.
