3.2 Description of Component Parts
•
Front cover
Open and close the front cover when replacing the paper roll or the paper is jamming.
•
PAPER lamp
Illuminated when the paper is running out.
•
FEED switch
Press this switch when you want to feed the paper. The paper is fed while the switch is pressed.
If the power is turned on with the switch held down, the printer will perform self-printing.
•
Mechanism lock lever
Used to lower the mechanism when raising the printing head, when the paper is jamming or the auto
cutter is being locked, or when manually discharging the paper or operating the cutter blade.
•
Printing head up lever
Used to raise the printing head. The printing head has been kept up upon shipment.
•
Roll paper cutting blade (CBM-292 only)
Used to cut the paper.
•
Fitting metals
Used to fix the main body to the rack, etc.
•
Interface connector
Connects the accessory data cable. Provides serial/parallel communications.
•
DIP switch
Used to initially set communication(serial/parallel), printing concentration, etc.
•
Power connector
Connects the accessory AC adapter(power source).
•
FG terminal
Earth terminal for the main body frame. Wire as required.
•
Auto cutter (CBM-293 only)
Automatically cuts the roll paper by a command. Either partial cut or full cut is selectable.
