16.4 Seaming – The seaming method depends upon carpet construction and backing
type. Always follow manufacturer recommendations for seaming. Common
seaming methods include:
 hot-melt tape
 hand sewing
 tape and latex
16.5 Power Stretching – Power-stretch carpet following the eight step procedure
described in Figure 2. Firmly hook onto tack strip.
