Enters global configuration mode.

RP/0/0/CPU0:router(config)# controller sonet

0/4/1/0

Enters SONET controller configuration submode, where:

• number—Specifies the SONET controller number,

which is the same as the associated POS interface, in

the notation rack/slot/module/port.
