These new linecards supports a strict priority queue on the transmit side for each port. A total of 1.33Mb of buffering
is available for each port. This is 166Kb is set aside for the receive queues, and 1.2Mb is set aside for the transmit
queues.
3.3.8. 10-Gigabit Ethernet Line Cards (WS-X6704-10GE)
The 4-port 10GE linecard (WS-X6704-10GE) was announced soon after the introduction of the Supervisor 720.
